Always a pleasure to stay at Amedia in Wels. The staff are friendly, the rooms are comfortable and very clean, and the location is lovely. Looking forward to next time.
The room was clean and the breakfast was okay. The room service was only until 18 o'clock and they spent good part of their time talking in the corridor. The staff was very nice and friendly. However, I was charged 74 € over the original price. I slept well 😊😊
A great hotel for a cheap price! The employers were really nice. Also, the position of the hotel is fantastic, compared to the rest of Wels... Cosy christmas market right outside, and really good restaurants near by.
Friendly and warm welcome. Checkin and checkout, also invoicing simple and fast. I'm often guest of the Amedia Plaza in Wels. Smart and competent team. Hotel is located perfectly. I feel welcome as guest.
Unique set up of the building and rooms, fun atmosphere.
The gentleman at the reception was very helpful and friendly, supported all of our needs.
Great experience!

Excellent
4th time staying here. Excellent location, very nice hotel and fantastic service. As guest really welcome. That’s the way how hotel works ats its best.
Really recommendable.
I‘ll come again,again.
Staff was welcoming, quick check-in, elevator was operational, sweets sweetened my welcome experience.
The historical place is in good condition and very centrally located, so that you can walk to the pedestrian precinct in less than a minute and you have coffee places, bakeries, restaurants nearby or even "in-house".
Cleaning service was good and exchanged all used towels in the bath room which is equipped with shampoo/shower gel, a hairdryer, and a heating. The room has a table, lamps in the bed, which is very convenient, a safe (big enough for a 17" laptop), a huge flat TV-screen (slow but fully operational), a fridge and a Nespresso machine (with 4 caps which are, however, not refilled on a daily basis). No water boiler or tea available.
Thumbs down for the occasionally but regularly interrupted internet connectivity in the room, which hinders work, streaming and texting/social media.
The bed was comfortable, and the curtains darken the room sufficiently.
Unfortunately, the noise level is quite high when other guests pass by in front of the door, but this did not impact my sleep too much.
Overall, definitely a place to stay!

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Disliked: Cleanliness
Good things: most things are very clean, employees are polite.
Negative things: As a gold member I have not received a room upgrade even though Expedia sent me a confirmation mail. I have also asked politely in the front desk but they said “I cannot do such things manually”. After double checking Expedia, I saw availability but was not given it. Furthermore I have not received a free bottle of wine as promised due to my status.
The blanket had moldy black spots. The WiFi is not 5G nor 4G or even 3G. In the back of the breakfast area there is no WiFi connection at all.
There are no security measures if you want to leave your belongings at the desk. They just tell you to leave the things behind a glass door where everyone just could go there.
We had a wonderful stay at this very clean hotel in a perfect location, with friendly, welcoming staff. The breakfast was excellent, there’s on-site parking, and it’s dog-friendly, with lovely parks nearby for walks.
Inside, the décor is striking and eclectic — vivid textured portraits, playful bathroom murals — giving the place a gallery-like feel. Just outside, the park features illuminated glass sculptures and even a Roman boundary stone, making for a delightful cultural surprise. The town itself felt calm and safe, perfect for a relaxing break.
The only challenge was the sofa bed for my children, which was too small for a teenager and hadn’t been prepared. Despite our late-night arrival, the receptionist kindly brought extra bedding, but I still ended up sharing a bed with two teenagers — not the most restful night 😉
Still, I’ll happily return… next time without the teenagers 😉
