"DoubleTree ticked all the boxes - cleanliness, comfort, quality. The standout was the customer service which was very friendly (especially the person who serviced our rooms who was always friendly and helpful). Minor downside was that it's not exactly close to any key locations, but the bonus was that we got to know Angel Islington which is a bit of hidden gem (recommend a walk along the canal and the German bakery). We we were able to access all the usual tourist hot spots by bus or train (both available within 5 minutes walk. All in all, very happy with our stay (and we tend to be a bit not picky 😁)"

"This was a great place to stop through London for a few nights for a concert at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Clean, quiet and convenient to both Central London and Tottenham Stadium, and outside of the super tourisy areas. We love North London and Finsbury Park. Lots of great food and easy to access transportation. We had almost no contact with staff, except the cleaning crew who were lovely and generous with biscuits, water and tea. Would definitely return to this hotel. "

"Only there overnight but the hotel staff were polite, friendly and ordered a taxi on our behalf. Happy with everything apart from the cost of parking which felt steep at £30 a day for hotel guests. £35 if not a guest. "
