"There was a fire pit was which was lit at night, we enjoyed this.
The continental breakfast was simple but nice, the facilities were clean.
I’d recommend this accommodation for large groups or for a simple quiet weekend away."
"Great location with easy access to local shops as well as wineries. The room we stayed was reasonably clean but the bedding needed some improvements where the blankets were not warm enough and the availability of extra blankets was limited. (The extra blankets that were given had some marks from old dirts even though we were told they had been washed)"
"I loved everything about my stay here, from the wonderful staff, to the fantastic restaurant and bar downstairs, to the quaint little room upstairs. Very historic, very fun."

"King Room in an old style pub that has been turned into a Motel (no pub downstairs anymore).
Entry from Vincent St is a little obscure but opens straight up onto a set of stairs with reception counter a climb up 2 flights.
Old eclectic pub style accommodation with shared dining room, shared loungeRoom and shared kitchen. Large older king room with private brand new bathroom (which was very clean and bright). Bed was comfortable like sleeping in a marshmallow that wraps around you. Room has bar fridge and kettle with coffee/tea items. Room has own A/C.
Free breakfast which you make yourself in shared kitchen. Great selection of breads, cereal, and milks. Also available eggs, fresh whole fruit along with every jam, butter and toast topping you could need. Basic breakfast, but adequate start to the day with a cup of coffee.
Lovely old pub, but don’t let the decor turn you off, it’s “eclectic” and quirky!
Only down fall is the street noise when some of the local “kids” yell and yahoo down the street on their way home after the other “establishments” close around midnight - thankfully it didn’t last long!"
You can enjoy a tasting or tour at Hungerford Hill during your travels to Pokolbin. Amble around this relaxing area's picturesque gardens and enjoy its lively bars.
