"This property is located in a beautiful place, room was ok, and staff was friendly. However the hotel site and the ad are misleading and I will explain why. My friends and I were on a two week road-trip and this was our final stop before driving home to Germany. We selected the hotel and decided to pay a little extra because this place advertised a beautiful Spa and wellness area, open year round (this still shows on the site). "Perfect stay in a quiet family run hotel just outside the centre of the village. Easily walkable. We had a large family room with 2 bedrooms and multiple balconies - even in the bathroom. The breakfast was surprisingly good given the of the property, and was regularly topped up throughout the ‘feeding window’. Would absolutely stay again."

"Fantastic place to stay. 50 metres from the station/bus stop. Room was beautiful. - absolutely faultless. Reception were fabulous. We were very early arriving and our room was ready, so we were allowed to check in. Reception also gave us some milk for tea and coffee. Thanks a mill good people! "

"Surprisingly quiet and peaceful place to stay for overnight trips to the south and back. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, and even a walk or bike ride just outside the hotel. There is also the possibility to store bicycles. The only minor downside is the soft mattresses. Otherwise, satisfied "

"From the moment we arrived at the Grand Hotel Toplice in Lake Bled, we were completely enchanted. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a welcome cocktail in the sitting room lobby — and let me tell you, sipping that drink while taking in the most breathtaking view I’ve ever seen felt like a dream. The service here is in a league of its own — truly the highest caliber I’ve experienced anywhere in the world. Every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay feel personal, warm, and effortless. Our room was absolutely perfect, and I have to give special mention to the water pressure (a small but very important detail for me!) — it was spot on. The location couldn’t be better — just steps from charming shops, delicious restaurants, and local events. But the crown jewel of our stay? The hotel’s private beach. With bar service, attentive personal butlers, and the best possible access to swim in Lake Bled, it was pure bliss. I have never recommended a hotel more highly in my life. Out of all of our global travels and experiences with Small Luxury Hotels, this one stands at the very top of my list. We will absolutely be returning — the Grand Hotel Toplice has officially become my favorite stay in the world."
