Find Kid Friendly Hotels in West Bay from S$64

"The standard room I stayed in (H) was just okay. The room could have been a little cleaner (dust). The room seemed like one of the older ones on the first floor but the back deck was nice with the hammock. I stayed one night in G and the room was beautiful with a process bed and seemed like a newer room. The water was not exactly hot though. My only advice is the shake out the hammock before you get into it and spray it with bug spray or something natural like a citrus repellant. "

"The property is small but in a convenient location. No pool on property. The included rated breakfast was good. The hotel room that has the king bed was spacious but the floor was dirty, walking barefoot in the hotel you can tell it was dirty but it looked clean. Nice sized bathroom. Location is steps from a beach. Staff spoke English which is good. Also, they have private transportation available. Water taxis to West Bay is a five to ten minute walk away! They also have private balconies!"

"My wife and I spent a week here for our anniversary. Our room was right on the beach and was perfect for us. We enjoyed the food at the buffet and the specialty restaurants were great as well. The nightly entertainment was a little lacking but was not an issue. We felt safe and did not have any worry of our things being stolen from our beach chairs. Beware of the unsolicited tour offers from the beach tour salesman. They all appear to work for the same company but pricing varies from salesman to salesman. The beach vendors are out there in full force and will aprroach multiple times per day. Drink waiters at the beach were sparse and we usually just got our own drinks from the bar, but they are close by. The last full day we were there the power was out for a few hours during the morning and on our last night, the power was off and on for several hours between 2 and 5 am. Overall, I would stay at this property again."

"Unfortunately we did not have water for 2 days, and while it may or may not be a maintenance issue, it simply made our stay very uncomfortable as we couldn’t shower, use the washroom, etc. The staff are very courteous and friendly but they operate based on the hotel’s rules/budget so there’s not much more they can do. The floor in the room was filthy and I don’t think it was cleaned/moped once during our stay (showed on our feet after walking barefoot, after coming from beach with clean feet). The toilet kept malfunctioning, and there wasn’t a vent in the washroom so you can imagine the stench in the ‘superior suite’ for 6 people with 1 washroom. The breakfast consisted of the same (white bread, eggs, sausages and beans) and did not offer any fruits, vegetables, etc. I’ve stayed at the Bananarama before which is the same price and the rooms are a bit more rustic than this one but the food is far better. There is also no lunch/dinner options on site. Bit of a walk to the beach and their partnering beachfront resort is a 20 min walk. I would not recommend this place and would suggest any comparable beachfront hotel a better option. The Bananarama also offered evening entertainment for free. "
