"Last minute adventure to celebrate husband’s birthday and we thought we’d give this Inn a try. We are so glad we stumbled upon the listing! Lisa was very communicative and friendly. We were instantly impressed with the hospitality and ambiance. Beautiful Decor, well appointed room with a serene mountain/lake view from our balcony room. Comfortable bed and chairs. Plenty of storage for our hanging items. Toiletries in the restroom were thoughtful considering the quality-I very much appreciated that. We were completely made to feel at home here and that says a lot. We do look forward to another visit in the future and will highly recommend to our friends and family. "

"This was our first time to the Mt Snow area for hiking. My daughter and I enjoy finding hidden gems and wow this was amazing. We were only staying for the weekend, intending to hike in Jamaica and Wilmington. The hikes were great but our stay was amazing. The staff was so friendly, the room and accompaniments were top notch. View? 10/10. Food at Sawmill? 10/10. Pool? Relaxation? 10/10. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!"

Immediately upon booking I received a text message from the staff letting me know someone was there to help with any questions. checking in was easy and the hotel was very clean. The room, beds and bathroom were all clean and well kept. The free breakfast was a plus. "

"This is such a charming, historic New England bed and breakfast. The quintessential Vermont experience right in the heart of the quaint village of West Dover. The Innkeeper knows all the people & places around. Homemade breakfast options are delicious, I had the local blueerry waffles. The Blueberry Festival parade passed right in front of the inn. I drank the Inn's coffee in the morning outside on their lawn, on one of the oversized stone seats around the firepit. There are books on the shelves and games in the living room. The Inn is in a perfect location, walking distance - with sidewalks - to multiple restaurants. And just 10 minutes to the town of Wilmington and the GORGEOUS water at Harriman Reservoir or Lake Raponda. There's 2 golf courses a few minutes away. And 2 ski mountains too! This place is super quiet, but close to whatever you might need. The Inn is filled with cozy furnishings, antiques, fireplaces, etc. Lovely lovely, so New England, so Vermont. "

"I love staying at the Mountaineer. I stay there every time I go to Vermont. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Parking is very easy good location, central to many restaurants and other amenities. Very nice coffee bar beautiful pool for swimming. great atmosphere. Love the easy check-inprocess. Everything is digital no keys to worry about."

"As a small family of 3 with one 6 year old child we don't mind sharing a hotel room, but when staying longer than 2 days we would prefer a more comfortable environment, especially when weather conditions are not favorable for skiing. We loved the comfort of the apartment, the flexibility of mobility throughout the floor plan, the ability to grocery shop and prepare food, the access to the amenities such as pool, sauna, jacuzzi, laundry and then of course the Mountain View! The outdoor patio was great for fresh air as the apartment is on the 2nd story. Not much to complain about with this experience! We wish we found this apartment option earlier in the season, but we will make sure to book again in 2026!!! "
