"Staff was helpful, property in in great shape. BUT beware, the pet fee has been raised to $75!. I feel this is excessive, i would agree to a deposit and if damage was done, the guest would be charged. Our dog has never damaged any property and is not left in the room alone. Probably will stop staying at Wyndom Hotels"

"Another great stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton Orange New Haven! This was another wonderful experience, and it’s always reassuring to return to a hotel where you know you’ll be comfortable. The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay. I especially appreciate the suite setup, the comfortable accommodations, the convenient location, and the complimentary breakfast. The property has everything needed for a relaxing and convenient stay. It’s clear why I continue to choose Homewood Suites when I’m in the Orange/New Haven area. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!"

"Nice hotel in New Haven where I stayed when I participated in the Faxon Race in Sept. Close to New Haven Green, lots of restaurants, very walkable. Property was very clean, staff at check in/out were very helpful. Bathroom had nice materials, water was immediately hot, and good lighting for makeup; available robe for use was a nice touch. Counter space was limited, and the fan and light was on the same switch so you had to hear the fan every time you turned on the light. The mini fridge was in a cabinet with no outlet so I had to drag it out into the room to plug it in to get it cold; I left it there until the day I checked out when I unplugged and returned it to the cabinet. There is no breakfast included however they do have Starbucks coffee in the lobby in AM. Although they do have a fairly good selection of food items at the kiosk in the lobby it was very expensive ($5 for a 6 oz cup of yougurt!). Parking was directly across the street and fairly reasonable for a city; the ramps were pretty tight so if you have a large vehicle it could be a challenge navigating."
