"This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. "First room the door wouldn’t lock, got another room which seemed ok at first but kitchen was filthy dishwasher was full of dirty dishes from previous guests, fridge,microwave, oven hadn’t been cleaned , bottom of bed cover was really stained and dirty "
