"This a unique property, very cosy and peaceful. It was exactly as advertised and very charming with a well presented modern attached bathroom. Karen was a really helpful host and the location for us was great especially as Karen gave us so much advice and assistance to plan our day in the Grampians. Sadly due to the cloud cover we did not get to see the night sky but on a clear night anyone keen on stargazing will have a great view. "The motel is located right in town close to cafes, hotels and breweries. It has a wonderful outlook over paddocks towards the hills. However the hotel is run down and in need of work. Our room was not ready for us an hour after the advertised time for registering. Our bathroom was not cleaned properly - a used, wet face-washer and a half empty shampoo bottle was left in the shower. There was significant mould in the shower. We requested a room service the second day of our stay but that was "missed" by the staff, who did provide replacement towels etc. when asked. To be fair the rest of our room was clean, spacious and well laid out. Cigarette buts near the front and rear doors of our room were not a good look. Our room was quiet."
