"This place was a gem! Nicely updated and very cute. Super clean!! And well equiped. Super easy check in and quick to respond! The area is very quiant and no loss of local culture. Tons of shops and many eateries to choose from! Everyone was so nice! Only down side, it was very hard to find. Very small sign for the Hotel under a much larger sign for the wine bar. "the man and women at the front desk were amazing. they went above and beyond for us. we were in a car accident (rear ended) on our first day in Iceland (about 15 minutes from the cottages) and were very stuck as we couldn’t drive the car or make phone calls. we got in contact with them and they not only picked us up but moved us into a room in the main part of the building so that we could be close to the front desk to use their phones to make many calls back and forth to our car rental company....

"This hotel was incredible! We got there exhausted early morning and they allowed us to check in right away and had a room ready for us. Its centrally located to everything and we were able to take the bus from Bus Stop 5. We also walked to the BSI station which is only 20 mins away. The staff were courteous and kind.
