"My partner and I had such a lovely time here. I don’t even know where to start. The room was very cute, comfortable, clean and had a soaking tub ( and some lovely bath salts) that was a real treat. We took a nice little swim in the lake which was the perfect temperature. The gentleman who owns this place is friendly and professional, i felt welcome and at ease while interacting with him. I met a dog and a cat. The cat was perfect in every way- mysterious yet friendly, unafraid and unconcerned....

"This hotel was better than expected. We had a room with a small kitchen that worked great for our family. It was comfortable and clean and a great value for the price."
"This is a quaint, homey family owned and operated (from what I could tell) motel. It is old, probably from the 60s, but very clean. The curtains looked like they had been carefully sewn most likely by the owner, and installed with nice pull backs. The tile in the bathroom was nicely installed, and the bathroom was very roomy. The sink had some cracks in it, and the toilet seat was worn, but everything was sparkling clean, and smelled clean. The grounds were thoughtfully groomed, and there were subtle decorations that are not present in corporate hotels. I absolutely loved staying here, and it was inexpensive too. I will stay here again whenever I visit Florence. "
"The staff had to be called multiple times to be able to check in, in the middle of the afternoon. The main room and bed was clean and fine as far as the stay. The bathtub looked filthy and we did not feel confident to shower in it. And the one amenity that is offered, the indoor hot tub, is in an enclosed room that doesnt look like it has been cleaned in months, maybe years. The chairs offered in the room were covered in mildew and The hot tub room itself was covered in mildew and it felt like you were breathing in toxic air. And while the water looked fresh and clean, you could see dirt at the bottom of the tub and when trying to turn the jets on they moaned and groaned so loud and never really started and we quickly turned them off with the sound it was making. We did not stay in the hot tub area past 5 minutes. As for safety, all doors to enter the hotel area from the outside (including the hottub) appear to require kets, but are completely unlocked and accessible to anyone. Keys only seem to be needed for individual rooms. "
"The only issue I had was minutes after I checked into our room, I started sneezing and smelling like there was mold. It is carpeted. The patio seemed scary to walk on to and run down. The patio door was difficult to open as I have back issues. The staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was good, but only have 4 tables. "
"Seemed like a rip off. We booked a room with kitchenette. Apparently we were told to rent a kitchen box with pots/pens/cuttlery etc for an additional fee. Whats’s the point of booking a room with kitchenette without anything in it. I didn’t see anywhere on expedia that kitchenette is empty really and you have to pay more to make it usable.
The room overall is dated including the kitchen appliances, no exhaust for the stove… guess you have to keep windows opened when you cook."
"Bed was very comfortable. Did not seem to
Have a lot of options for breakfast today . Usually they have a great selection. Room was clean. Traveling alone most of the time this place makes me feel very safe."
"We requested early check in and didn’t get it. We came back at 4:30pm (4pm check in) and the room still wasn’t ready until 5pm. Parking was terrible, no assigned parking and tons of trucks with trailers taking up multiple spots "
