"The front desk staff was polite and accommodating. The amenities are well stocked and they had a great selection at the front desk for snacks, alcoholic beverages, and sodas.
The room was clean and up to date. The heating and cooling was on point. The gym was also up to date and clean. The pool was clean, a bit colder than I would have enjoyed for an indoor pool.
The real reason we had a successful trip was out attentive staff member Chris, from the Breakfast area. He kept it clean, well stocked and everything ready to go. He was super helpful and attentive to our needs.
I see he was checking on guests, making sure the dining area was clean and well stocked.
He was literally a one man show. I thought he was a manager the way he treated the place.
The food was delicious, hot fresh and quite a selection.
I would highly recommend this place the parking lot was well lit, and also had EV charging stations for the travelers.
One downfall, was the fact we saw staff people smoking out front. This is a non smoking hotel. The only reason I point this out , was the check in desk said they hold a $50 deposit for smoke damage specifically.
I am understand people chose to smoke, however, don't do it in front of the building. Especially if you charge people for a "smoke damage".
All in all everyone was super friendly. We stayed because of the quality of the name. We would come back because of people like Chris at the breakfast area."
