"Lobby clean and staff friendly. Smoke filled casino. Nonsmokers had to walk thru smoking areas to get to nonsmoking area. Blue chip tower needs TLC as seemed outdated. Parking in covered garage convenient. "

"The room was clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed. This is an older inn undergoing some renovations. We would opt to stay here again instead of the chain hotels. Breakfast was adequate and the location was phenomenal right on Pine Lake. "

"Nice stay. They exceed in a lot of areas. Only concern was sleeping in a smoky room. Casino no smoke odors. Room had been smoked in and more than once. Wake up at night and it’s the first thing you smell. Wake up in morn and first thing you smells. Come back to room after being out and first thing you smell. It gets increased in clothes and luggage. Too bad ppl smoke in a non smoking room and hotel cannot get smoke Out once it’s in furniture and carpet and drapes and wallpaper. "

"The room ac kept turning on and off every few minutes and didn't cool the room down. There is a main road right next to the hotel and an interstate highway just beyond that and our room faced them. I'm a lite sleeper and the noise from traffic kept me up most of the night. The fire alarm for the entire building went off around 3am and we evacuated the building and it took about 45 minutes before we could go back to our rooms. The place is not fancy, but the room and beds were clean. The common areas of the hotel, such as hallways, elevator and entry carpeting needs some cleaning and updating. The breakfast is not bad, but the breakfast area is real small and there is not enough room for everyone. No one was at the front desk the entire time we were there, instead there was a phone and a note to press a button and a few minutes later someone would come to the desk. The price was good compared to other such rated hotels in the area. I think the rating for this hotel was too high. I would not stay at this hotel again; there are a lot of other hotels in the area for about $20 more per night. If the only thing that matters to you is low cost, then I would recommend this hotel, it is ok, but not good or great. "

"Need to update rooms. The staff need to learn how to attend to guest and not be on their phones all the time. The breakfast was okay but wasnt really hot. Decided to stay a second day and found bugs in room kids running and screaming up and down hallways when we were trying to sleep starting at 7am. Wouldnt go in pool because no one cleaned it. Had a jacuzzi room and stuff was floating like jets werent cleaned. Over all probably wont be back and wouldn't recommend."

"Very clean room and hotel. Staff was amazing and very friendly. Pool was nice and breakfast was great."
