"Great hotel, stunning location and amazing hosts! Everything this hotel has to offer is outstanding but Richard and Sam elevate it even higher with the thoughful extras they provide and their warm and friendly manner. Nothing is too much trouble and they cook a fabulous breakfast too! First ever stay at The Cavendale but definitely not the last - looking forward to going back soon!"

"Very unique guesthouse, host was lovely and made you feel very welcome. Every room was different, we had a peek in room 5 which was very elegant with a beautiful bay window. Our room was room 8, top floor. A lot to look at in the room. Seemed to be history based. Breakfast was amazing. The only biggie was that the water pressure in the shower was non existent, it wasn’t worth even trying to use it. We spoke with staff who said that it was because it was top floor, which didn’t really seem plausible when the toilet and taps were all normal. I would definitely stay again but maybe a different room"

"The breakfasts was okay but could of had a few more choices of cereal and yoghurt flavours also said it had croissants and dint even see any pastries, The staff was friendly and polite and always helpful will return at some point."
