"Very quiet part of weymouth bay right on the sea front beautiful views very friendly hosts, lovely clean room evrything you need, excellent breakfast options would definetlty recomend"
"Although I had booked a single room with no view I still felt that I had stayed somewhere luxurious. The bed and the bathroom were lovely and the host very helpful and friendly. Very convenient location just on the seafront. The breakfast was perfect."
"Booked for a weekend family visits, we didn't use any of the spa or entertainment or restaurant options so cannot comment on those. Our room was clean and tidy, staff welcomed us on arrival and wished us well on checkout. The car park is super busy but that is an issue anywhere so close to the seafront. The only issue we had was some very noisy upstairs neighbours who woke us several times - even during the hotels requested quiet times. Obviously, visitor behaviour is somewhat outside of the hotels control and being such an old and historic building some creaks and squeaks are to be expected, just a shame it somewhat ruined a nice stay."
"Room only no breakfast included.
Nice little BnB only draw back was you could here all the other guests jn there rooms. Close to the seafront only a few minutes walk away."
"Lovely old world character pub, cheap beer, lively sports / music, good breakfast, friendly staff, ideal for short stay in local area. Room basic but clean & decent enough for my needs as a 1 night stay, comfortable bed, good water power in shower which was lovely to cool down and clean up in after a day in the hot weather. Of note in deciding to book a stay: pub was lively so could be a bit too noisy for some later at night, no aircon in accommodation (but a fan to waft the hot air around is provided !) and the road noise in early hours could be an issue if you are a light sleeper (obviously outside the control of the premises however, worth accounting for if one of your priorities is a good nights sleep). Overall, decent value for money and even if I book to stay there next time I'd still visit again for the ambience of the place. "
"This pub was a little gem, the staff and locals were lovely. On arrival we were informed they had a charity race day and band on… so we decided to stay put instead of going to the beach. We had a lovely time, real community spirit and great atmosphere.
The pub looks newly renovated and the food was great too, we enjoyed the local band and maybe drank too much of the local ale.
The bedrooms are lovely, well decorated, modern and bright. We stayed in a room with a hot tub, this was a great novelty and lovely to relax in. We did miss having a shower we could stand in, but could still shower sat down.
Breakfast isn’t available but there are lots of local eateries that you can get to easily.
Definitely would visit again!!"
