kitchen bright overnight so bright in the room where there are 2 single beds - might be useful to get some curtains for those windows. Noisy next door neighbours checking in late.

The room size was great for two people and the host was extremely kind to barricate his dog inside. The area is very quite and I was able to get a good night sleep.The cockroaches inside the room definitely put me off a bit but the overall stay was good.

Nice friendly service. Proabably not the flashist place in town but totally adequate and great value for money. We thought that road noise would be an issue but this was not the case at all. Close to town and handy having a shop just across the road and a lovely cafe 100m away.

Pleasantly surprised at quality we got for $100 per night. Unit was modern and clean. Was not in the heart of the city but only a 5 minute drive to centre of Whangarei.
