"A wonderful old pub in a great position facing Kings Lynn Minster. Exceptional friendly welcome. I obviously drew the long straw as I ended up with a huge sitting room with kitchen, a large bedroom with a king-size bed and a shower room with a jacuzzi-style bath, something I wasn’t expecting. A very nice varied menu. Tables outside fir eating and drinking. A perfect setting. Breakfast unavailable but two doors away there is an amazingly good breakfast cafe. The parking machine opposite is the easiest and most straight forward I had ever encountered. It worked out at £2 per hour until 5pm, £3 overnight."

"I stayed for 5 days and it was the second time I have been a guest there. The drive through the beautiful tree lined driveway is beautiful, reminds me of Forest Gump movie. Checking in was problem free, the food excellent, drinks lovely and bar personnel so kind. You won't be disappointed. Everyone is lovely and so kind and respectful. Close to town and site seeing sites."

"I booked this specifically to include a cooked breakfast as my husband always likes this, unfortunately the breakfast was quite limited, no mushrooms or tomato’s or hash browns or choice of egg. Cereals were limited too and only one flavour of yoghurt. It is a good basic breakfast just not what we were expecting from previous reviews. I would say that the staff were more than helpful and went that extra mile to help with any query, they were all pleasant and friendly and made you very welcome. The rooms were fine and clean, wardrobe space small , but perfectly adequate for a couple of days"

"We stay here because it is convenient for visiting family. The bed was comfortable however with the high temperature it was difficult to sleep. The fan is not adequate enough to cool down the room. We have stayed here lots of times however the shower in this room was the worst one that we had."
