"The room was very clean, small, but well appointed. We were experiencing one of the hottest days in the UK so it was a bit uncomfortable for sleeping due to the lack of ac, there was an oscillating fan in the room which provided some relief but without a window for some fresh air during the night, it was a little stuffy. "Fantastic cosy room. Lovely shower , comfy bed. The check in is via phone and a key safe . The room was well stocked and very clean. Main problem is the doors to rooms don’t have quiet closing so when the ignorant other guests go in and out there is constant slamming of doors. We stayed in the room with exposed beams and it was very well thought out . Good for walking holiday due to location."
