"The receptionist was super nice, just wonderful. The hotel is at least 40 years old, at minimum. It looks a bit worn out on the outside. But it's obvious from the room we were in that they've upgraded the rooms here & there over the years. The room was small, but it was clean, the AC worked great, the water was hot, there was a coffee maker with complimentary coffee, & big chocolate chip cookies when we checked in. The parking lot is well lit, & the sunrise you can see from there is beautiful. Our sole complaint was that the mattresses were hard. (We like soft ones.) It's not the modern hotel that a lot of us are used to, but it was still good."

"All the staff went out of their way to be helpful and were so friendly. Breakfast was nice and had a good variety of foods. Location was ideal for visiting Badlands and Wall Drug. It is older but is well maintained. Although we did not use the pool there were a lot of people enjoying it."

"Older building with paper thin walls. I could easily hear the conversation in the room next door and every time any other guest opened and closed their doors. Thin ceilings too, as I heard every movement the people above made. What was really unusual was my TV came on by itself in the night. Needless to say I didn’t get a restful night of sleep. Also, I really question the plumbing. The shower did not drain. The water smelled and tasted terrible."
