The Grand feels intimate and comfortable and is well situated in the middle of Hallispel's many restaurants and boutiques. A work in progress, the lobby shows promise for the rest of the hotel soon. The room was basic but very comfortable. It needs better windows and window treatments for sound and light blocking. The 'continental' breakfast should not be dismissed, with fresh quiche, good coffee, and more. Recommended.
I love this place... this is where i always come when im in Kalispell

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Super friendly staff and very clean hotel in a prime location for walkability; however, the premium room we had was on the front corner of the building facing Main Street and the traffic noise was constant and very loud which was quite unpleasant. Definitely pick a room that doesn’t face out on Main Street for a quieter stay.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a small but very tasty complementary continental breakfast each morning in a lovely breakfast room. Located in downtown, it was walkable to a number of stores, coffee shops and museums. Parking was very convenient. There is a bit of street noise.
Staff is FABULOUS! Property is comfortable & convenient.

The hotel was right by the main road and had extremely poor sound insulation. The road is used for drag racing and on our first night, the race continued till 5am. Coupled with regular traffic, it was hellish to sleep. We got a room change the 2nd day and were told that we will get a discount for our first night. Upon check out, the discount was literally $10 off each night. Based on what we paid for our 3 nights and the undesirable sleep condition, (one can still hear the traffic from the other rooms away from the main road) I won’t recommend this hotel. There was one lady that was very accommodating on our room change, however I doubt the message was relayed accurately to the other team members as $10 bucks off is a joke.
