"We were visiting Holiday World with our kids, and we decided to stay here instead of closer to the park. We were blown away by this hotel! From the warm welcome we received from Bobbie, to the complimentary coffee and cookies, this hotel is a gem. The hotel is immaculately clean, it smells fresh. Every encounter we had with the staff was so pleasant. The rooms were incredibly spacious and clean. The rooms were so quiet, even with the hotel being almost completely booked, we heard nothing. Everyone slept fantastic! The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. The complimentary breakfast had so many options. Our kids enjoyed the pool a lot. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Holiday World."

"The staff was very polite but did not offer a welcome bag and on the last day we went down for breakfast and there was only toast. Everything was clean and wonderful. One of the best hotels in Owensboro."

"My stay at “The Courtyard by Marriott” was good. My room was very clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. Employees were friendly and helpful. They definitely need softer pillows which were very flat and hard. My only other complaints would be that upon checking in I had paid ahead of time for 4 nights and was told they would hold an additional $80 for the 4 nights for incidentals. Why? Just wait until check out! No free breakfast and their snack area was very sparse with no bottled waters. I feel they could definitely up their game!"

"The staff was very helpful. The front desk receptionist moved my family and I into a bigger room after noticing I had 3 children with me. The breakfast was hot and yummy with good variety. The pool was warm!"

"I give it a four star mainly because it feels pretty safe there. I definitely would recommend it for families if it's in the price range that you're looking for. We like vending machines for a quick night snack sometimes if you're into that make sure to have dollars and quarters the food machine only takes dollars and the Coke machine only takes quarters but the food vending machine will if you change back in quarters. The AC was freezing so that's a huge plus to me. Pay attention to the fact that they are full size beds they are not your standard queen size bed so that was a pretty big negative to me although I can't complain because I booked the room knowing they were full size beds. The staff were very friendly and it was very quiet I really appreciated that. There is plenty of parking we did not swim in the pool but it looked very clean and it was full!! They did have a decent breakfast the pancake machine was definitely a huge hit! They also had yogurt, eggs, sausage,biscuits, and gravy. Some of it looked really good some of it looked okay. Overall I enjoyed my experience and any mishaps were my own fault."
