"SCAM!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!! Paid for my sons birthday weekend away (4y.o) drove 2.5 hours to get here and the host didnt send us entry code to the apartment so couldnt get in. Expedia confirmed all booking, tried to contact the host but blocking my calle. Texts delivered and left voicemails asking to call us but had no reply. Took our money and put a case with expedia and they refused to refund ao had to contact fraud department with my bank and pay for a hotel late at night instead!! Ruined...

"I brought my girlfriend here for a long weekend stay for her birthday, from start to finish it was a lovely stay, our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, breakfast was extremely good with plenty of options, staff are all very friendly and helpful. Very close to york itself and found it easier to just Uber in rather than drive. The fat abbot was nice, didnt have food there but had a few drinks, reasonably priced, friendly, warm and welcoming. Access to the spa including pool, aromatherapy room, sauna, steam room and salt inhalation room was fantastic and the gym looked great (although not used by myself!). Overall our stay was great and id love to book another stay again in the future! Thank you!"
