Managed to time our arrival for the exact moment the local farmers were muck spreading, which made the first afternoon a bit unpleasant on the nostrils, but that's hardly the venue's fault. "

"Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping...

"What more could you ask for than a property where the supermarket (and many eateries) are around the corner and the bus stop is opposite the front door. Rayrigg is perfectly located, with a bus every 20 mins to take you to the railway station (about a 10 minute walk) or to other towns in the District. "The property was lovely with well furnished. Sadly the hot water in the shower wasn’t working despite reporting it after the first day. Cold showers aren’t very nice. "The property was absolutely freezing. It felt like the heating hadn't been on for ages and after we switched it on it never really got to a suitable temperature. We have a small child so travel with a thermometer and after the heating had been on for forty minutes the temperature in the front bedroom was only 7°C. Terrible night's sleep due to the temperature. Also dirty in places."
