Great especially for the price!
Indeed this might be an older hotel, but was nice. No bugs, comfortable beds, overall very pleased and worth the price. It might be a bit off the main arra but was quiet and safe and the staff was nice. I didn’t know they had a pool but my son used the pool and was very a big plus.. enjoyable!

This is an oldie but a goodie. The room is big, bigger than you average hotel since it was built long ago. The. bed was comfortable, and the AC rocked and kept the big room nice and cold! Slept like a baby. Another thing I liked is that there was no carpet!
There was a table in the room with no chairs. And it looked a bit dated. It was good enough for one night. Typical hotel room in Texas. Staff was very nice.
Didnt like: hair in tub and laboratory, didn’t have a blow dryer, chairs fabric needs cleaning, were dirty, ( stained).
Did like: had Kleenex, 2 trash cans, towels were clean & folded, had a bath mat, desk clerks were nice, it was quiet.
The staff was very helpful. We asked for clean towels Sunday and they apologized that their cleaning staff didnt work Sundays but they managed to clean our room anyway.
No hot water and quite a few bugs in the room. The outside check in at the window for after hours resulted in many mosquito bites waiting for the attendant to add on an unexpected deposit fee. Bed was comfortable.

The Staff were GREAT, but the room we stayed in was not great. Killed two roaches the chair was stained, and overall just not good.
Guy at check in was rude. Should have been a sign. This hotel has a rat problem. Rat feces all over the floor. I never took my shoes off. The bed was clean. I use a black light to check bed. It was fine so I stayed there. Too tired to go somewhere else. Got ice from ice machine and poured a glass of soda with ice. Less than 24 hours later I was in ER with an intestinal infection.. I guess I’ll stick to nice expensive places like the Marriott from now on.
