"The room was clean and comfortable enough. The location is good, and it's a pretty cool old building. As with all Greene King pubs and hotels, the wifi isn't really free since you have to fill out a form divulging a bunch of personal information to use it, which I declined to do. "

"Classic English accommodations. An updated old Inn, I'll guess 1700s, complete with neighborhood pub on ground floor. Ceilings are still low, hit my head, but learned quickly. I got room 3, a little noisy from staff congregation outside, get a diff one yourself. Old timey pull chain on toilet , hilarious. Cool little village too, with fish n chips shop, but the fish n chips in The Crown Inn restaurant were great. We stayed here purposely for the UK experience vs boring corporate hotel marble and glass towers. Well worth the extra taxi fare."

"Easy to book online, reasonable prices. Staff welcome, check in easy. Food outlets in hotel available at different times. Good size room, comfortable bed. Parking area ample. Our only negative was our bathroom sink had a few old cracks (objects been dropped), not appealing"

"According to the hotel review, the location of the hotel is nice, and the parking is good, but the cleaning is not satisfactory. The bed sheets were not properly cleaned; there were still traces from previous use. Also, the chair had dust on it; it was not properly cleaned, and it wasn’t vacuumed."

"The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was clean and well organised (I always appreciate when the on/off control isn't under the shower head. The biggest issue I had was two grown adults in a double bed! 😐 It was uncomfortable and I didn't sleep particularly well. I would have thought that in a bedroom of that size there would have been a king size bed! "

"We recently stayed for 2 nights Friday-Sunday as we were attending a family wedding on Saturday. Checked in to the hotel at 8.50 and had a dinner reservation at 9. Upon going to our room at about 11 we noticed a letter from the hotel on the bed. Apparently their new policy is not to service the room for stays of more than one night unless they are asked. However you have to let them know by 10 the night before. As we were an hour late I telephoned reception but there was no answer. The following morning before breakfast we went to reception to ask for our room to be serviced sometime that day. We explained that we would be out from midday to midnight. The receptionist advised us that our room would be serviced later in the afternoon that day. Upon returning to our room "
