South African Hospitality at its Finest

From the moment we drove into the property of this beautiful B&B, we felt welcomed like family. Rina goes out of her way to make sure that the tiniest detail of her guests requests are attended to. We visited with our 93 year old mother, and the little, unspoken thoughtful gestures to make everything uncomplicated for her, spoke volumes of the caring kind of person that Rina is. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the welcome package included rusks and chocolates, complementary assortment of coffee and teas and bottled water. The breakfasts are an assorted treat of generous homemade wholesome goodness-each day with a different choice of hot and cold items. I cannot say enough about how well we were fed and individually attended to. The pool was lovely, and we enjoyed the polite dogs, friendly horses and occasional rabbits on the property. She has a number of little quotes around the building which is testament to her approach towards her guests: primarily that we arrive as friends, and leave like family. This is true Afrikaans South African hospitality at its finest. Thank you Rina- you’re amazing!

Most adorable place with very friendly staff

This place is great if you need a place in/near George. I liked that it wasn't in town, as I prefer the off-the-beaten path type but it's close enough if needing the comforts of what a city has. But what's even better is the closeness to Victoria Bay. The staff is super friendly especially the dog who was up front and center to greet us when we arrived. The grounds are very nicely kept and the added addition of the ponies and sheep? are adorable. You also can see the big cats over the wall that are next door from the Wildlife Park. I'm regret that we only had a very short amount of time to spend here as it was our last night of our trip and truly only a stop over before our flight in the morning, which is an easy 15min drive to. I definitely would stay again and hope to enjoy the area more when I return.

Excellent & upto-date accommodations, service & breakfast. Host Rina very obliging & goes out of the way to enhance the guests experience. Will not hesitate to book here again.

Beautiful B&B and friendly hosts

The setting of this B&B was idyllic. Gorgeous garden with a swing, fountain and gazebo. There's even horses. Breakfast was lovely (cereal, pastries, yoghurt, muesli, eggs and sausages). Host was very accommodating. Room was slightly outdated but adequate for the price.
