Needs improvement
Pretty run down. Piles of sheets laying by the pool and on the upper level walkway....it poured rain and all those sheets got soaked. Place is sadly neglected. Used to be a really nice place, previous owner kept it clean and treated guests like family. Pool Looked like a swamp. Sad to see this place go down like this.

It was just ok
We were on the lower level. It was a little dated. The ac didn't keep the room cool enough. It was clean but no wash cloths. Not enough outlets. Spent most of the night awake because of very loud children above us. It says to return key to office upon check out but the office wasn't open until 8:30. It was after the summer season so not sure if things are different in peak.

This property is a unique blend of today and yesterday. A short walk to the boardwalk and the beach. Staff was kind and helped with my laundry. I would stay there again if I find myself back in that area. I didn't have time to try the Pizza Cone at the pizza place along the boardwalk, but they sounded interesting.

Awful!!! Never going back
I have been going to this hotel for 30+ years. The past owner would ne crushed with the condition of this hotel. Dirty is the only word i can say. Pool was green when we arrived and garbage by pool was overflowing. There was a laundry cart parked with dirty towels, etc. In it the entire time we were there. In our room, toilet was gross and room smelled. Never will we go back. You had to ask for towels and toilet paper. No maid service. Disgusting.

I think I saw some unflattering reviews but booked last minute using rewards cash (luckily did not pay) for an event in town. I’m not picky about dated fixtures but I am about carpets that are clearly in need of removal, a door that wasn’t really a front door (think pool house door), leaky faucets and no soap. Plus it was loud with the people who were to back of us. I could hear them like they were in bathroom. And something or someone was tapping on door late at night and bed springs made loud noises like they are broken.

My husband and I stayed for a week it's clean comfortable everybody was nice love the convenience of having a small kitchenette for breakfast but definitely stay again. We stayed right after Labor Day second week of September

This property was built in the 1950's, exterior seems to be repaired and maintained. Rooms look their age. Carpets should be changed, room furniture, fixtures and electronics should be updated. The beds were not comfortable, the mattresses are extremely uncomfortable. Sheets and towels should be upgraded, along with plumbing fixtures.

Straight out of the 60's! Pink and green tile in the bathroom. Beds/pillows a bit uncomfortable. Staff was very accomodating, room and property were clean. Not a place I would stay at for more than 3 days but for the two nights we were in town, it was great! Easy access to the beach. Great value and highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable option!

The room was clean except the shower… there were some hairs there that weren’t from me. Also the door locks were not very sturdy and some people were drinking and being loud right outside my door until late…. Which made me nervous for my safety as a woman traveling alone

Terrible customer service
My stay was horrible. The toilet to my room was clogged. No one from the front desk helped me with the issue. I was told they didn't have anyone for maintenance. I wasn't offered another room with a working toilet. I had to drive all the way to the wawa to use the toilet. My trip ended early because of this inconvenience.

Carpet in room, dirty. Pool area filthy. Flower pots dry and empty in the pool area. Garbage full and stinky outside and never taken out. The staff did not make an effort to clean the place! Picture of the entrance mat.

This property was very dirty , they didn’t clean the room before we got there it was very dirty inside the room, the kitchen , the bathroom shower curtain was very dirty as well, not to mention the swimming pool which was very dirty as well . I had to immediately take a shower after five minute in their pool. This place was horrible, I would never recommend this place to anybody, also I will never go back there again, I should have asked for a refund , very dirty and nasty never again!!!!!!!

Our stay was great! Granted it was in the middle of the week so it was a quieter stay (just what we like!) The Bel-Air was an ideal stay for its perfect location and amenities. It’s definitely not an updated spot..but it was the perfect place for an old world Wildwood stay. The staff was very kind and helpful! Would stay again!

Our stay was excellent. The only thing we didnt like was the beds are not very comfortable. Easy walk to beach & boardwalk. Enjoyed the grilling and pool area with the family. Kitchenette made the stay very nice. Made use of laundry room after the waves got our towels. Wish pool was open later than 730. Overall, great vacation.

It is an older motel, "vacationing since 1956", but clean and well maintained. The pool area is nice and even has a couple of grills if you want to cook. Parking is easy but very tight spots. Nice family runs the place and the are very friendly and helpful.
