"The lake front location is the prime benefit and check-in went smoothly. But it’s very old and I was disappointed right away driving in. Very small parking places. We had glass blocking back patio of room so couldn’t walk out to pool without going around…probably because small pool within steps of room. Train blew horn at 7am and was only 100 yards from room and very loud. It needs to be entirely renovated for the price they charge. The room was clean and beds and pillows were pretty comfortable, but there was no soap in dispenser and very small kitchenette. No closet or even hook to hang clothes. Like joining a dating site and person you’re looking at online posts a photo looking 25 but is actually much older when you get to the date."

"Check-in was at 3. We arrive at 3:30 and waited an hour because our room wasn’t ready. The apology as a half hearted sorry the crews been busy I’m not sure why it’s taking them so long to clean the room. During our stay we identified the hotel as very transactional where they don’t tell you about their hotel, where the restaurant is, where the gym is what the pool hours are As a customer you have to seek all this out. When you check no one asks how your stay was. The breakfast Food was worse than airport food. I will not be back or recommend"

"I stayed at the Milwaukie Inn for several weeks and had a great experience. The property was clean, quiet, and felt safe throughout my stay. Housekeeping did a good job, and the staff was always friendly and professional. Any time I needed something, someone was available to help. The location is excellent. Stores, restaurants, public transportation, and other services are all close by, which made day-to-day life much easier. What impressed me most was the staff. They work hard, treat people with respect, and genuinely seem to care about keeping the property clean and running smoothly. I would gladly stay here again and would recommend the Milwaukie Inn to anyone looking for a clean, affordable, and well-managed place to stay."

"My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The facilities were poorly maintained, the room was not clean, and the overall condition of the property was far below expectations. Customer service was also very poor, as the staff showed little interest in addressing concerns or providing assistance. The room had several maintenance issues, and the overall experience did not justify the price paid. I expected a much higher standard of service and cleanliness, especially for the rate being charged. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would not stay here again. There are far better options available for the same price or less. Very disappointing experience overall."

"The room smelled like urine and cigarettes. We checked in and the smell was so awful. We were late for a lunch reservation so we dropped bags and ran out. Over lunch we decided to book another hotel because we couldn’t stand to stay in that room one more minute. Also my dog was extremely anxious in there and refused to drink the water from the tap. We checked out when we got back from lunch. We were refused a refund because we “stayed” in the room 3 hours. To top it off when we were packing up another family next to us was also leaving because their rooms were also disgusting. It literally smelled like multiple dogs peed in there. Also the lobby smelled so bad like smoke that it gave us headaches just from checking in."
