The Lux Hotel & Conference Center, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Housekeeping came each day to our room without us requesting. That was really good. The room was very good. The staff was friendly. This was a good stay for us."
"The room was clean and quiet which are the most important things. Surprised there wasn't an elevator, not that I needed it. Also, while this place still has in-room coffee (thank god) all they had was decaf, which made it useless. But all in all a decent stay."
41 Lakefront Hotel, Trademark Collection By Wyndham
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel bar was open late and had a very good selection of wine by the glass from the Finger Lakes. The two bartenders I met were friendly and knowledgeable."
"Spa is amazing with excellent staff. Would highly recommend everyone visit and have a relaxing day at the spa.
However, the restaurants connected with the hotel are okay at best. The fine dining restaurant was okay & had decent food, yet nothing wowed me it really missed the mark for excellent food at a fine dining restaurant.
The pub restaurant was good, anything with brisket is excellent but again some of the other choices are missing components that could make the food really good. I had the artichoke and shrimp salad and was looking forward to something different, but it was just blah, it needs a better dressing and maybe feta cheese or something else added to bring the salad together. Staff were excellent at the pub."
The Historic Gould Hotel Seneca Falls, an Ascend Collection Hotel
8/10 Good
"Nicely renovated art, deco style old hotel. The lobby was a little sparse, but I wasn’t really spending my time there anyway. Conveniently located right downtown and walking distance to some restaurants. The free parking available behind the hotel was wonderful!"
"The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean, comfortable, and free of any unpleasant odors. The window could be opened slightly to allow fresh air inside, making the room comfortable even on a warm day without needing much air conditioning. The breakfast area was also spotless and offered a wide variety of choices. Parking was easy, convenient, and felt safe. The only drawback was that weekend rates were nearly twice as high as weekday rates."
"This was my favorite stop on a multi destination trip. Loved this hotel! Comfortable, spacious and a beautiful location. I could sit out on the deck of our room all day!"
