"This property is surrounded on both sides by the Grampians, nestled near the town centre of Halls Gap. Plenty of wild animals to see, kangaroos, wallabies, deer and ducks are all plentiful. Your nearest neighbour is the sister house to this one (The one we stayed at was called bushland, but ironstone is also available.) "Located on a quiet residential street right next to town and within walking distance of restaurants and shop. When I arrived, the neighbors were sunning themselves across the street. The neighbors are KANGAROOS! I was so enchanted to see kangaroos around the neighborhood each time I came and went. My room faced a sheep pasture framed by mountains where I relaxed and watched Super Fairy Wrens around the patio. Very pretty sunset from the patio. The young man who works there was very kind and I was able to do laundry. The room is a little dated but ultimately I think it works beautifully, the Lodge is just perfect for a peaceful mountain stay. "
