This place was “ok.” The room was reasonably clean. It’s a little dated, but not excessively so. The pool area was a disaster but it appears they are working to repair it, clean it and update it.The hot tub was out of commission and the pool had massive amounts of sand on the bottom. On the plus side, this place wasn’t crowded and was very quiet, but it’s within a 20 minute drive of Iowa City. The downtown square is absolutely charming. I would definitely stay here again, but it’s a pretty average budget stay.

Room was clean check in was a breeze! Working night shift sleeping during the day was peaceful and quiet!

Great hotel
Cute updates and friendly staff. A very reasonable and comfortable hotel. One suggestion—you could add fruit and yogurt to your breakfast foods. Otherwise—it was perfect!

Checked in at 3pm. First room they gave us hadn’t been cleaned from previous guests, beds not made, food left out. Second room, the floor hadn’t been vacuumed but we accepted it. Next morning cleaning staff woke us at 8 to clean the room.
