When arriving the exterior is in obvious disrepair, I was uneasy about how our visit would go, I was pleasantly surprised when we entered the lobby to see that it was actually updated and pretty nice. It appears this location is going through some much needed upgrades and renovations, so I’ll give them some credit for that. The staff was readily available at all hours and helped us with our every need from extra towels and bedding to recommending local places to visit and eat. We were in town for a weekend stay for a wrestling tournament and found the area immediately around the motel to be seemingly struggling but everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and prepared for our visit, my only complaint would be that the simulated wood flooring was not completely clean swept. If I had to make a recommendation I would say they would benefit from an entry rug or floor mat directly inside the door because it was only small debris that had been tracked in because the room exits directly outside. The interior of of our room and bathroom is obviously an older building but had been updated, recently painted and redecorated to update. Being close to the highway there was some mild traffic noise, our heating/cooling unit functioned well and the shower provided good pressure and temp. The bedding was comfortable and I did notice they had recently replaced the mattress and it had mattress protective covers on it. Overall not the best but not the worst.

The room I reserved said 2 queen beds, but the room we were given was 2 double beds. Not a huge deal, but not what I reserved. There was a T-shirt hanging in the back of the bathroom door when we arrived. The bathroom door doesn't latch. No one at the desk when we arrived, and bioth lobby bathrooms had out of order signs on them when I attempted to use them. I rang the bell and it was just ankthet minute or two before someone came., she was very friendly. I probably wouldn't book here again though.

Extremely clean room! None of the “built up” dirt in the corners or on the ledges. Nice flat screen TV that appeared to work, I didn’t turn it on. The king was comfortable. Pillows were smaller but there were four and they were very puffy. This was a mid-week stay and it was fairly quiet. The room could have used a second night table on the other side of the bed and there were very few outlets to charge phone or laptop. Fridge was clean, I did not use the microwave. Water was hot. I would definately stay again.
