The entire place reeked of cigarettes. the room was filthy, the deadbolt was broken, the light was hanging off the wall. There were holes in the wall and two handprints on one of the walls. We did not feel safe staying and left at 1:30 in the morning.

If you don't want to sleep in your car at a rest area and prefer a bed, then this is a good option. Otherwise the entire building smelled like cigarettes, the carpets were dingy and dirty, there was no one at the counter to check out and I had to call to make sure it was just ok to drop the key. It took forever for the shower to heat up. The free breakfast was ziplocked bags of cornflakes, bread, and donut holes.

The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The rest of my experience was terrible. Cigarette smoke and cooking odors permeated the stale air on every floor and in my room. My room and the bed linens and bath area did not smell clean or freshly cared for. I found another hotel, reserved a room there, and left this place. For someone on vacation, this experience was really bad.

Hotel was dirty and outdated. No sheets on bed when we checked in and a blood spot on mattress pad. No phone to call front desk so had to use cell. Later found the phone not hooked up in a drawer. Garbage in trash can so thinking they didnt clean after last guest? Pocket door to bathroom wouldnt close. Had to wait at least 2 hrs for maintenance to fix. To make it even worse TV turned on but no cable. After calling the front desk we were told the owner would be arriving soon and would come up to fix it. No one ever came so we ended up watching TV on our phone. Looks like an older gentleman lives there and uses the 2nd floor lounge area as his living room. Was super sketchy walking my dog outside. Additionally, no coffee maker in room which i do use a couple times a day. Broken hairdryer. Was the worst hotel I've stayed in over 30 yrs. Didnt have bad reviews when i booked it as I do pay attention to those. Dont stay here unless nothing else avail. We came for Brimfield and liked the convenience of being close to the truck stop amenities but man what a disappointment!

Walked into the Rodeway and it smelled like smoke and body odor. While at the desk a mouse came from under the doorway into the lobby attempted to go out the door was unsuccessful and returned under the door. Went to the room holes punched in the walls torn and ripped sheets. What looked like blood on the rugs. Shower was disgusting. I could taste the smoke on my lips. Grabbed my things and left it was so discussing.

This is a filthy awful hotel. The staff sits around talking instead of cleaning even crumbs and other dirt even on the glass table in the lobby. Carpets filthy, lobby bathroom smells of urine for lack of cleaning. Rooms just as bad and no one on the property seems to care in the least.

The hotel is in deplorable conditions. lobby smells of marijuana. Elevator has a filthy area rug cover floor(which was too big for the area) the room was worse condition, sheets and comforter was just tossed on the bed. The actual bed was lopsided the bathroom smelled horrible of urine and I can’t even talk to you about the shower. We walked out so fast and requested a refund which has not happened yet. This place should not be operating. I’m surprised the health department has not been called to this place.. oh and the window was cracked and window screen slashed.. worse experience ever.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever been in. The bedsheets hadn’t even been changed and there were crumbs in my bed! This hotel is dirty and disgusting. The lady at the front desk was nice, but that was about it. If I hadn’t been so tired that one night we stayed There I would’ve gone somewhere else. Could not wait to get out of there.

The single most disgusting, dirty, and scary hotel I've ever stayed in in my 50 years. I thought they banned smoking in hotels 20 years ago yet this place was literally an ashtray. My clothes smelled like this s...hole the next day. Pretty sure the shower hadn't been cleaned in a decade either. Stay away from this place. A different franchise location in western NY was 10x cleaner. They must be separatley owned for there to be such a vast difference in quality and cleanliness.

The facilities were disgusting...the price was right, I did not expect a ***** facility, but I did expect cleanliness. The sheets had not been changed since the previous guest, someone else's hair in the shower drain. And the saddest continental breakfast I have ever seen....a container of mini doughnuts from BJ's, corn flakes that someone had bagged in snack sized zipper bags, white bread with some butter and jam packages, orange juice and milk in the fridge with coffee.

This facility is listed as a non-smoking facility the whole entire building, as well as the room that was given to me reeked of cigarettes. In addition, there is mold in the showers, sinks and tile floor. The sheets are dirty and stained, as well as hairs found in the bed. Carpets are filthy and debris everywhere.

This hotel is disgusting has marks all over the wall who knows what it is yuck! Doors to restroom are slide doors that provide no privacy if you travel with someone else. Knobs are nonexsisting. The tiles are broken and shower filthy. I could not dare to put my body to even sit on the bed, light switch doesn't always work and if you want to relax and go in the pool you'll need to wait for summer because the box they call pool is an outside Pool. Place smells like (smoke) cigarettes. Worse place I've been to by far. I did not stay even after my reservation cut off time.

The whole property should be tore down and rebuilt! When I rented it said “smoke free”. The whole place smells like cigarettes and garbage. I’m pregnant with a toddler, diabetic son and our daughter has cancer. There was a suspicious stain on our walls. I had to check out immediately and my family and I had to sleep in our car till the next morning

I stayed in this same room back in September. At that time, the toilet handle was not attached, so I reattached it. It appears that no maintenance person has been back to check on it. Toilet flushes hard, and I’m a big guy, and I have to push hard to get the handle to move. The shower mat was dirty and stiff. Gross. The carpet had not been vacuumed. Extra gross. I’ve stayed here four times in the past four and a half months, because it’s the least expensive and closest to where I am visiting… but I think I’ll spend more or drive farther next time. If I could levitate from the doorway to the bed, I’d give it a higher review.

Everything was posted as non smoking, but the lobby and halls had a strong odor of smokers, though the room didn't smell bad. The room was clean, but the sink in our room drained extremely slow. We had a change in plans and were most grateful that they were willing to charge us just for the night we stayed, and not for the four we had reserved.

The room, though shabby with age, was clean and the bed was comfortable. The heat-a/c unit was very noisy. We turned it off. Overall, not a terrible stay if you don’t mind a little patina from old age.

The room smelled so strong of cat pee. The TV wouldn't work. The heat didn't work. I didn't even bother trying to get help cuz nobody stays at the front desk. You have to ring a buzzer and when they feel like it they come. We found sunglasses and other stuff that we didn't bring in the room. I asked for a king bed and got 2 doubles instead. It was disgusting.

That place was absolutely disgusting! I would not even let my dog stay there. I highly recommend you take this motel off of your site. Just saying. The smell of mold and cat urine was insane in the room!!! The hallway was even disgusting. The only thing that would improve this motel would be a bomb.

Booked through Hotels.com and when i arrived to check in, it turned out there was no vacancy. Not sure if it's the fault of Hotels.com or Rodeway Inn, but long story short, the 2 people working the front desk pulled a ace out of their sleeve and got me a room. Very nice, very helpful, and it was a little after 1am, so i withdrew really been in a bind had they not figured something out. Halls are a little dingy, but rooms are nice and clean, except for mold in the mini fridge. Comfortable bed, good towels, great price. Free breakfast is just breads and cereals, but other hotels were charging more with no breakfast. Would stay here again.
