"I liked that the floors were hard surfaces and not carpet- that made everything feel cleaner. The bed was very comfortable- but it was very high- I am 5’1” and it was difficult to get into the bed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating."
"What a wonderful stay we had at the Carriage House Inn! My mom, sister and I were in town for a funeral and we were all able to stay in one spacious king suite, due to the Murphy bed in the kitchen/living room area (with two porches to enjoy, with views of the lovely courtyard). The Inn is right in the middle of town with ample free parking, and free buffet/cooked to order breakfast each morning, all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!"
"The front desk lady was very attentive and kind. They had clean rooms. I had a hot tub in room, coffee pot, hair dryer, microwave, refrigerator, and ice bucket. Very accommodating. Staff on point. Best breakfast i have had at a hotel. With a little dining area in front lobby. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!"
"The lobby inside is about the only thing that was clean. Let's back up and start by saying my original trip for my anniversary was changed, so we chose to rent a room for the weekend and enjoy a hot tub jacuzzi . Entering the room there was torn wallpaper, filth and dirt everywhere. I spent an hour with my own cleaning supplies cleaning the room. Sanitized everything. The bed sheets had stains so I brought my own. The room was much better when I left. The jacuzzi was perfect. The 2nd day did not have water for about 4 hrs. The place. Could have a very nice Hotel if the owner would update the room and clean up the property. Train your employees the right way. I could have those rooms in tip top shape in no time. Maintenance would be fired. Front desk staff are rude. Not much for a breakfast but nice. I personally heard the front desk staff and maid talking about me for asking for more coffee and towels. Disrespectful. Would not waste my money again."
"The fire alarm was removed from the room. The carpeting was so filthy it turned the underside of my socks brown. On check-in, i was charged for the entire stay and presented with a lengthy disclaimer, prefilled with my initials, including a statement that there would be no refunds.
Stay somewhere else!!!"
"The breakfast was great! Freshly cooked bacon and grits and lots of other choices. The staff was wonderful and the room was very comfortable and quiet. We will be back."
"The staff was friendly. The room I was in was completely clean from last guest. The vent in the bathroom did not work. The hotel is near restaurants and stores"
