On the plus side: - Staff was very friendly - Breakfast and happy hour were excellent - Generally clean - Bedroom was dark as a tomb, fairly quiet Downsides unfortunately outweighed the postives: - Pool was so cloudy you couldn't see the 2nd step, and hot tub didn't work, was ice cold. VERY DISAPPOINTING. - Only one of two elevators working (apparently has been this way for months). It took over 20 minutes to get down to check out! - Lots of shabby areas that haven't been kept up well

We were very happy with our stay at the Embassy. Very clean, attentive staff and wonderful free breakfast, with many options! (Even had gluten free rolls and Bagels- which most places don’t have). One complaint was the having only one elevator operating- we opted for using the stairs, instead of waiting. Secondly, on our Saturday night stay, we returned to our room to find that it reeked of marijuana!! (We also encountered the odor coming in the main entrance the night before). People have their vices, but when it affects me, I’m not happy about that. I don’t think a hotel is the place for any type of smoking!! Build an outdoor smoking lounge to the back of the property.

The hotel is nice and very roomy! However, you can tell the facilities are on the older side with a lot of wear and tear. Pros: Nice and roomy with a good price. The area is pretty quiet, and overall it’s pretty comfy. Cons: Old appliances (they could really change some of the toilet seats). The room did not seem super clean when we walked in. Small amount of dirt on the floor, and the bathroom smells a little weird. Also supplies like shampoo and conditioner were running very low in the bathroom, so it was not enough for 2 people. Swimming pool was nice, but a lot of foot traffic from the pool to the elevators, which made the front of elevator very wet, sort of unsafe especially for older people. Maybe place a carpet there to absorb some water? Overall, it’s a nice and pretty hotel for events and family vacation. The swimming pool got a lot likes from the kids.
