Aloft Wilmington at Coastline Center
Reasonably helpful staff, but my room (corner, river view) had a broken door lock; when I asked to move, I was told there were no equivalent rooms available, so rather than be upgraded, I was put in a cheaper room with no balcony/view/ etc

My dog is not allowed on the bed, so the rule didn't make a big different to me, but it might to a lot of gusts.

Courtyard by Marriott Wilmington Downtown/Historic District
Was there 2 nites. Staff was very nice! But… No housekeeping at all. Needed another towel. Called housekeeping & front desk several times & no one picked up (did get the towels tho, but no beds made, etc). Room HVAC was wonky: either too hot or too cold. TV didn’t work. Bar wasnt open when we wanted ...
