The Kitchen is fully equipped and staff was busy but very kind. Only a thing that was inconvenient is the bathrooms apart from my cabin. Overall it was very clean and very peaceful place. Thanks.

Great alpine gem

Wonderful place and we were given a free upgrade to a recently refurbished cabin. Bed super comfortable and the outlook to the garden and kangaroos was delightful.

The facilities were clean, convenient location. The only issue with the place is the invasion of Possums during the night, that could not be controlled, they got into everything they could.

My rating is based on this property providing exactly what we wanted: a quiet "time out" in a quiet and peaceful setting, in a bushland environment rich in native animals and particularly in birds, in close proximity to the mountain country, its unique scenery and its amazing variety of walks and excursions in an utterly unique environment. Consistent with this, the cabin provided fully equipped kitchen, bathroom , stove, microwave, fridge, and comfortable sleeping quarters, set in a superb bushland surround with the sounds of the natural world...

Unable to complete stay due to severe blizzard conditions requiring last-minute cancellation (although we had more than 72 hours notice before the stay) Disappointed by the property's no-refund cancellation policy, particularly given the circumstances were weather-related and beyond our control. The policy seems unfair to guests - when a room is cancelled and likely re-sold to another guest, keeping the full payment appears to be double-charging for the same accommodation. A more reasonable approach would include partial refunds for cancellations made with adequate notice (24+ hours), especially for weather emergencies. While I understand businesses need cancellation policies, this one feels overly punitive and doesn't account for genuine emergencies or safety concerns.
