"Good hotel for visiting Wimberley. It’s clean, nice view, the pool is beautiful. It’s a little bit drive out from Wimberley downtown."

Blair House Inn

"Blair house is doing a lot of things right! Guests get a glass of wine when they arrive. The rooms are a nice size. There is a refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker with 4 pods and all condiments. The coffee mugs are stoneware, the bed is a king size and the bedding is excellent, especially the sheets. The bathroom is well-appointed with great towels. There is no closet, so your hanging garments are on a rack in the barhroom, making the space crowded. The dinner: Blair House offers a 5-course dinner with 3 glasses of wine every Saturday night. It is open to the public as well. At about $100 per person it’s a great value. The chef is excellent! Everything was perfectly prepared, including lobster bisque, greens and goat cheese salad, ribeye steak, mashed potatoes, tender-crisp asparagus—and a perfect creme brûlée. Better yet, the free hot breakfast is prepared to order. One negative: Blair House needs to up their game with their wine offerings. They were uniformly mediocre, and Blair House is in Texas wine country. They could showcase neighboring vineyards. Missed opportunity."

"We had a wonderful stay! The place is lovely and very clean, especially the huge bathroom. The porch offers beautiful scenic views, and the spa tub was sparkling clean. It's the perfect, convenient location for exploring and dining on Wimberley Square. The Blanco River at 7A Ranch is a fantastic place to swim!"
