"Gem of a hotel, superb location, very helpful friendly staff. Attractive outdoor spaces. Rooms are compact but well designed. If I was staying longer than a few days would appreciate a kettle in the room. Otherwise couldn’t fault our stay "

"A room w a view (14) and twin beds loads of space custom Velvet curtains matching chair and blanket really elegant. Nespresso coffee machine and liquid creamers nice touch. Bath tub was welcome site w my recent fall and shower w rain and hand held also. Hot strong water plush towels. 5 * place. But the managing couple made my 2 nights w their care attention to my sudden immobility and knee injury. Even the stairs were doable but they offered to change me to downstairs from. Breakfast included boiled eggs meat cheese etc well worth the 13E. Be back for sure. "

"It was bitterly cold… And I was delayed by wintry weather in Manchester Airport and arrived much later than expected… The hotel staff responded by email to my email telling them that I would be late… And had prepared my room with an oil filled radiator pumping away at 24 C when I arrived….wonderful service …for which many thanks to the courteous and considerate staff."
