"Great location in the heart of Winchcombe but tucked away and private. A well equipped cottage with washing machine and dishwasher, lovely big bed, comfortable lounge and a courtyard garden. There was a somw noise from the pub garden two doors down, particularly when they had a live band on, but it didnt go on too late. The bath was one of those with an accessible door on it so you can walk in and a hoist which made it a little strange , but shower was fine. Great stay. Will stay again."

"Ours was a five night stay in The Old Paper Shop. Located on a busy road however night time noise was minimal. Once our car was parked we could walk everywhere for shopping, drinks at the pub and visiting the sites. Very comfortable bed and wonderful shower (great after a hard days walking). Kitchen was very well equipped. The key safe check in process was easy and efficient. Very much an old world charmer with lots of character, which was as I expected, cosy but perfect for two. "One of nicest bunch of staff have met at a hotel. Very hardworking, diligent and actually care about their guests. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool and gym were excellent. Only issue was on checkin as it took a very long time as a couple guests were having payment and suite issues. Parking is close by, food in restaurant was perfect and breakfast had a lot of choices. This hotel takes good allergies super serious and lots of dairy gluten free options available- we were sad to leave"

"Impressive entrance vestibule after negotiating confusing outside approach. Reception good with staff excellent, but issues with bathroom layout and efficiency questionable, Taps on washbasin not well placed causing copious surface water, shower poorly positioned and weak, shower screen ineffective causing water on floor. Insufficient hanging points, towel position not convenient. No bedroom drawers, but beds very good, clean and comfy. Awkward tea making position with insuffient attention to replenishing items - ie, no sugar on two mornings, insufficient milk provision. Good tv. Dining room accommodation good, staff and breakfast choice excellent, all marred by dead flies and dust on low window cills. On going aircon issues caused some discomfort at night. Impressed with efforts to conserve environment."

"Everything was great - no issues. Car parking was also well integrated but it appeared to be only 24hr blocks. Might be handy if you arrive early to be able to get 26 or 30 if exploring the next day. Room was large and airy, nicely decorated and bathroom was clean and well appointed with everything you need. Only thing I couldn't locate was info about mini bar and if the water in the fridge was complimentary or chargeable. I'd happily stay again."

"Wonderful stay at the Lygon Arms, free and convenient parking. Ideally located right in the heart of Broadway. Bookings for dinner are recommended for both restaurants, excellent cocktails are the bar (no cocktails available at the Tavern). Staff all very friendly and welcoming. Lots of walks right from the hotel. Delicious breakfast with lots of options. The spa has very nice changing rooms and showers. Would definitely return. The two small issues we had was our room was right on the High Street (accessed through the dining room) so there was a lot of street noise in the evening with the windows open during the summer as there is no air-con. As our room was only accessible by walking through the dining room, we were told we couldn't wear the provided dressing gowns/slippers when we had to walk through in the dining room when going to the pool/spa and for a massage, so had to bring a change of clothes. I understand the policy completely, but it would have been nice to have been told this ahead of time and given the option to change rooms. When staying again we will request room off the high street and with freer access to the amenities."
