Fantastic place. Lucky enough to find The Fox after being let down by The Running Horse and were delighted. All the staff particularly Annie & Liz (at breakfast hope I got the right name) were absolutely brilliant. The room was superb - huge, every possible convenience & spotlessly clean. Both bedroom & bathroom beautifully decorated; great bath & shower. Sadly didn’t have dinner as had reservations elsewhere but judging by breakfast it would have been very good. Definitely returning and can’t recommend highly enough

I couldn’t praise this place enough. It’s such a stunning building, such warm and friendly staff, amazing food and the decor is to such high standards. The rooms are luxurious and spacious. I can’t wait to stay here again. Thoroughly recommend it here. Thank you to all the staff.

We loved our stay at The Fox! Our room was picture perfect and quiet! The dining room and breakfast room were great for food, service and ambiance. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Stunning...in every way!
Fantastic pub in a stunning location. Everything was pretty much perfect. Fabulous room, very clean with a great bed and elegant bathroom. Dinner was excellent, quality of food, service, etc all first class. Breakfast was also fabulous - quality ingredients cooked to perfection, presented very well and again service was great. Very difficult to find any fault here. Very friendly too - Alice and Alex along with the waitress (sorry, didn`t get her name) a credit to the business. Probably the best overall stay I`ve had in 20+ years of work related stop-overs. I`ll be back!!

Superb stay at The Fox, Crawley, Winchester. We arrived at The Fox wowed by not only the actual building but the beautiful village it sits in. We were made very welcome by Steve who made us feel at ease straight away, all the staff were very friendly & helpful including Tina at breakfast who helped inspire my husband into taking a tour of the Cathedral ( which he very much enjoyed.) Our room was really lovely, well presented with all the luxuries (& more) you could ask for, the food was exceptional, especially the breakfasts, beautifully presented, probably the best breakfast we have enjoyed from any establishment. Our evening meal was really enjoyable including the birthday dessert plate that was made for my husband, again, beautifully presented. Everything about this hotel exuded excellence without being ‘stuffy’, we are so pleased we found you…we will most definitely be back, thank you so much from two very happy customers.

Great stay!
Stayed here for one night before a cruise from Southampton. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Our room was huge, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order at the time we requested and was delicious. We'd definitely stay here again to explore the area further.

Amazing stay at The Fox!
Our stay at The Fox was excellent. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed and linen was luxurious and we had an ample supply of teas and a coffee machine to use. The ensuite was tasteful with high quality fittings. There was a pleasant range of toiletries to use. We did not have an evening meal but our breakfast the following day was superb. We ordered the night before but we received more then we ordered. Pastries, wonderful homemade granola with fresh fruit, a delicious full English and toast made of various bread. In addition juice and tea of coffee.

We stayed for a couple of nights. The breakfasts were great, catered for all dietary requirements. Room was very comfortable and well maintained. Staff were all exceptional but must give a special shout out to Tina who works early mornings. She’s a fountain of local knowledge and nothing was too much trouble 😄

Our stay was lovely - al the food was absolutely incredible, teh service was perfect and the room great with a huge bed! Little touches like a map f local walks and advice on what there is to do nearby really made it special.

Home away from home - great stay
This is the perfect place for an overnight stay or a base for longer if you want to explore the many places around. It is has been decorated to a high finish and the bedrooms were lovely and comfortable. The team made us feel like we were at home from the moment we arrived. We ate in the restaurant the night before, again great food and a big choice on the menu to suit anyone. Breakfast was plentiful and set us up for our big day ahead. Lady on breakfast was really knowledgeable about the surrounding area and recommended places for us to visit so we will definitely be back. The Fox is also situated in one of the most picturesque villages we have seen. Would be a great place to go with friends for a night away from it all.
