"I think the best way to evaluate this motel is to do it via pros and cons.
Pros: good location – right across the street from Walmart, a gas station, Burger King, Dollar General, and Dunkin’ Donuts. Within the same parking lot was a Mexican restaurant, liquor store, and smoke shop. This motel has a laundry room with vending and ice machines. The continental breakfast offered oatmeal, waffles, toast, pastries, coffee and juice. The room was clean, and the bed very comfortable. There was also a small microwave and a very large sized mini refrigerator.
The cons: the motel only had two small bars of soap, and a little tube of shampoo, there were no other toiletries.
Although there was a TV, you really couldn’t access anything unless you have apps which you can sign into. There was a night where we could hear people being loud outside our door which was disruptive of our sleep. The motel did not have an elevator so if you are in for a long stay, hope that you get a bottom floor so that you don’t have to climb the stairs. Our room was in the front which didn’t offer much of a view except the side of a restaurant while the back view at least had some greenery. The price of what we paid was much higher than what the motel is worth. However, we went during the time when the masters were playing in Augusta, which was only 30 minutes away. There was also no coffee maker and if you want to walk, forget about it because there are no sidewalks around."
"This was the worse motel property I’ve ever stayed at. A complete dive!! Rust everywhere in exposed metal in the bathroom and vents and clothes rack/hangers. Broken toilet seat. Broken telephone in the room. Broken alarm clock. Hair dryer was 30 years old as well as the iron. Burned out light bulbs in fixtures. A smoking room when non smoking was requested. Paint, trim and everything in the room was awful. Stay away from this property at all costs. "
"Staff was great, rooms were clean. However, the property has not been upgraded in years so things don ’t work, water drips, pipes squeal loudly. Would probably go again, but not at the rate (or anywhere near the rate) we paid. "
