Walk to everything

This hotel is in a great spot in downtown Windsor. You can walk to local bars and restaurants. Walk to the riverfront. Walk to the bus terminal to take the tunnel bus to Tiger/Lions/Redwings games. Staff is super pleasant. Best of all is the great price.

We only needed somewhere to sleep, change clothing and refresh as we were out most of the time we were there. We were mainly visiting family and we stayed in Windsor for ten days.

Property is clean outside and inside.

Room temperature was cold but not freezing. No individual room heating unit other than a very small space heater on table. Owner has been obviously making much needed improvements on an old hotel. Much more is still needed though. Room only equipped with Antenna/airwave TV. Multiple closed circuit cameras monitoring exterior and hallways. Owner and manager very welcoming and helpful.

It was nice, we went to eat at the cook shop (fine dining) which is within walking distance and headed to the bull and barrel (bar) also within walking distance, location is perfect, but parking was an issue, where the hotel told us to pay and park earned us a parking ticket

Affordable, good accommodation

This was a decent hotel in a convenient location. I stayed here for three nights during a visit to the city. The price was cheap, but the room comfortable, not too hot or cold, with little extras such as a fridge, TV, and chest of drawers inside. No breakfast, but a vending machine and free coffee/tea outside the room. The room's Wi-fi was good. When I asked, the staff provided me with a small chair as well.

Did not have the reservation! Asked for Credit Card again. - THEN didn't even have a room! Just as happy they had nothing available as this is more like a FLOP HOUSE than a hotel. DON'T BOOK HERE!!!! (also - parking THERE IS NONE) I'm not sure as we didn't get as far as the rooms - but the dingy office had not air conditioning. No elevator.

Surprisingly Satisfactory

Not a very nice building on the outside, but the inside was re-done well: room was small but clean, modern, and quiet. Microwave and fridge included. Programmable lock was very convenient. Front desk staff seemed very unprofessional and was mostly absent. Surrounding neighbourhood seemed pretty vacant: most buildings closed or boarded up except a few convenience stores nearby - luckily it was only a 10 to 15 minute walk to the beautiful waterfront and Caesars. Street was quite wide and still felt safe, even at night. Overall, considering the price, this hotel was very reasonable; all the basics were taken care of.

Small rooms but excellent service.

The rooms are very small but clean. The staff are excellent and very helpful and polite. They recommended a restaurant that was excellent. The building was a little noisy very late into the night (not sure if that was other guests or the staff). Rooms don't have their own climate control so our room was a little chilly. Staff did supply us with extra blanket and pillows though and were very nice about it. This hotel is in a good location.

Simple, quaint hotel.

Hotel staff was very accommodating. Room was clean and practical. Not too far from downtown area. Parking I'd had too recommend upgrading. It was in a strange area and a little confusing for someone who is not familiar with area. I'd recommend to someone who is visiting Windsor wanting a little peace and quiet without being too far from the action.

Not a good place to stay!

A cheap motel or sleeping in the car would have been much better. The location was good and Windsor was great fun but the room they gave us was not clean and it was stuffy. There is no heat or air control in the rooms, just a ceiling vent. The bed was so worn it was almost comical. No Microwave or coffee available as advertised. Cancelled second night reservation. Happy to leave in the morning. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Great stay at Bexon

We had a great stay here. Hotel is a little run down looking from the outside but the rooms are well kept. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Would stay there again for that alone. Overall for the price, it's great as you're right by the downtown night life.
