Hemmie is one of the best hosts I’ve ever met! He made me feel so at home from day 1. I was on the island for an exam and Hemmie made my stay less stressful by serving delicious breakfast every morning and offering to give me free dinner. He even offered to drive me to and from school, which was a bonus! The place itself is just marvellous! All the antique furnitures made me feel like I was really on vacation. The view is also breathtaking! You go out to the balcony and you see the ocean along with the view of the island. If you want to visit Saba, you have to stay at Selera’s. Not only is Hemmie a wonderful host, the hotel itself is beautiful and so so peaceful!

Staying at Selena Dunia is a very unique experience. Each room is beautifully decorated to reflect the history of the many countries visited, or lived in by the owner. It tells a beautiful story. Also, the location of the property makes one feel like you are hanging out in the clouds. The views from the balcony is phenomenal, the many different species of birds that come by to take a drink in the hanging water feeders, the white rabbits roaming, not to mention the different types of coy fish swimming in the pond surrounding the building. Breakfast is provided, always with a smile, the host is friendly and accommodating. I can’t wait to visit again.

Cloud Watching
Wonderful grounds and fountains. Very eco friendly. Was a little concerned about no a/c but the wind and the climate up the mountain was wonderful. We sat on the balcony cloud watching. The owner is very sweet and wonderfully caring. We drove the island with its twists and turns. Friendly! Jobean Glass is great for a class.

Yenny and Hemmi are the most amazing hosts we’ve met in a long, long time. They provide a truly boutique experience, more like having a small cottage to ourselves. For anyone looking for a respite, rather than the usual bar / restaurant / crowd & loud scene, Selera Dunia is the perfect spot in Windwardside.

This hotel has the most beautiful and incredible view. The owners wife Mrs. Jenny is such an amazing host, making us feel at home at all times and her daily breakfast she prepared for us was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel. We truly enjoyed our stay at Selera. Henri and Jenny are wonderful hosts that will do anything you make your stay comfortable. We enjoyed chatting with them. They also run a little grocery store next door so you will have access to all fresh food, produce and wine. It is a 10min walk from hotel to town. The room is very comfortable and clean. You will enjoy a beautiful view of the mountain and ocean while having breakfast, lunch or dinner on your private porch. We plan to return!

The property was convenient and I enjoyed my time. The view from the balcony is amazing. The owners are very nice and friendly. There’s a few things that can be improved like the communication. I tried to reach them a few days prior to my arrival to arrange transportation but was only able to speak to them once I got to the hotel. I had to request help from a very nice lady at immigration in the port. Other than that and the hotel not having AC or fans which forced me to sleep with the windows and doors open, having a couple of bugs visit at night, I had a pretty good time there.

I loved everything! They are two of my favorite all time people. I would never stay anywhere else than here and I plan to come back. He is a great story teller, she is a great cook and they are both hardworking and respected people. Love them! I stayed there for two nights recently and slept with my doors open, it was soooooo niice!

View is spectacular. gorgeous breezes run through. Very quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast service. Village is close and easy walking distance the Only difficulty is the walk up and down the hill to the village. Requires one or two pauses on the way up ! Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Wonderful, Unique stay in Saba
Wonderful, unique place to stay with a kind hostess who takes personal care and attention to make sure guests are happy. Amazing decorations from around the world, great views, good wifi, and a breakfast catered to your individual taste. Beware that if you don't have a car, it's a steep uphill climb as Saba is a mountainous island; also note that mosquitoes will come in if you leave the door/window open!

I really liked the atmosphere of the room and the breeze that cooled the room off. The owners seemed very friendly and nice. However, I was upset because I booked the room on my credit card, and thought they were going to process it. No actual check in or check out, and they called my cab driver looking for my room payment as I was leaving the for my flight off the island. I was never told about paying my room in cash, and i hardly had enough money to return home. The bed was also very hard like sleeping on plywood. I was only given one set of towels on the first night, and asked to have a new set for the third night. Never received fresh towels the entire four nights i stayed there. The television was also too troublesome to use (Only streaming available, and wifi not great).

Stayed at the hotel 3 nights and enjoyed the made to order breakfast with flexible schedule. The place is at the top of a pretty steep hill from Windwardside, but a manageable walk and for Saba it’s pretty much anywhere you walk is going to have steep uphill. The room was clean with a dehumidifier and air conditioning aling with a small refrigerator.

HEMMIE & YENNIE are the consummate hosts. Warm, welcoming. Delicious breakfast brought to our room every morning. A ride back to the boutique hotel after dinner in a Windwardside restaurant. Hemmie even did our laundry with a joyful heart! We were able to stay in the Dutch room, the Ivan room and also the apartment. The view from the balcony is breathtaking!!! We slept with the doors open and enjoyed FRESH AIR all night and all day. Woke up each morning to the sight of Mt. Scenery and the Caribbean Blue ocean with the charming Windwardside town below. We WILL return! Thank you for an amazing Five Year Anniversary - long awaited Honeymoon!

Over our stay was good. Hosts are great. The downside was we were in the single apartment down the street. It is downstairs next to the garage. Only outside area was the walkway, ocean view is a sliver around the big rock outside the door. It is on the other side of the hill, so the pics of the view are not accurate. Outside space is very important to me so I was disappointed.

Beautiful room with amazing views. Was welcomed with open arms, the owners were so kind and accommodating even when I showed up at 9am for check in. I would highly recommend staying here. She even makes you fresh breakfast in the morning.

Because you're basically staying in someone's home with their own personal decorations that mean something to them it would be nice to have a couple hooks to hang your clothes on . With that being said we had a wonderful time and Hemmie is great and we loved the breakfast. We love to hike But let me make sure it is clearly understood that they hike into town it's no joke and very steep

One goes to Saba for its beachless beauty, charm, hiking in tropical greenery, and undersea adventure. Selera Dunia proved to be an absolutely charming B&B. The most helpful host Hami has decorated the very large clean and beautiful rooms with artifacts from his time in Malayasia, like living in your own private museum. Amazing little hotel
This place is amazing. It only consists of two rooms, with the staff living in the third. The rooms are very spacious with a huge bed and bathroom, and the most amazing view you can imagine. The hotel itself is a little walk up the hill from the Windwardside village, and if you aren't in good shape you either need a rental car, taxi, or ask the owner to give you a quick ride as the hike is quite steep! The hotel is beautifully decorated and landscaped with a pond, orchids, and other lovely plants. Breakfast is included and is served in your room at the time you want. It's homemade! Eggs, toast, yogurt, fruit juice, jelly, and more. Delicious. The room has a mini fridge. The bed is very comfortable, huge, and there are two ceiling fans. As you are on Saba, it's a bit cooler than other islands and you should be very comfortable at any time. At night, the lush surroundings come to life with jungle sounds. You can sleep with the doors and windows open as there's no crime on Saba, and you will get the refreshing air and sleep really well. Really highly recommended, I can't say enough good things about this place.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel 1400 feet above the sea
The hotel has a wonderful view from the top of the Mt. Scenery, to the sea shore below. I slept in a wonderful large room with a four poster antique bed, on suite bathroom and small fridge. A delicious breakfast was served in the morning at what ever time I desired.

Intimate retreat overlooking Windward- stunning!
The accommodations were extremely comfortable and airy, the view was magnificent and my hosts were warm, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Will definitely go back.
