"I went to Leicester to see the Richard III museum, which was excellent. What I saw of the town itself was quite dirty my daughter did not feel safe walking to a restaurant a little distance from our hotel. HOWEVER, the hotel was excellent. Extremely clean, large room, very quiet and quite comfortable. The staff were wonderful."

"Good: contact with manager. Cleanliness and general set up Parking for car off road. Access to public transport.. Not good: on arrival the flat was stone cold and took 24 hours to warm up. Kitchen equipment was old, basic and just about functional. Very limited small kitchen tools "

"Thank you for a wonderful stay at Rivernene Cottages. Hosts Stephen and Phil were amazing and could not do enough for all the guests. We stayed in the Yew Tree Cottage, as a family of 4 (2 teenagers) this was perfect! The entire place is immaculately kept. "Another repeat stay for a rugby game. Excellent position, comfort and very friendly staff. Every room is different, but comfortable and very clean. All the beds are great. Breakfast includes a good selection and is always very tasty. This will continue to be our 'go to' choice for games."

"This is so much better than a hotel. The room is big and airy with a little kitchen so we could make a snack and mugs of tea and coffee. Loved having a sofa and a table and chairs. The bathroom was immaculate. Check in and out was easy and staff were friendly. The area is quiet but the city centre is an easy walk so the location is ideal. Breakfast was excellent. "
