"Let me start with the good: The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and there's actually a bar onsite that had good Irish whiskey.
I saw several reviews about lack of hot water, the TVs not working, hard beds, and there not being any coffee in the rooms (or the lobby) - all true. The town is under stage 5 water restrictions, so frankly, turning the hot water temp down keeps people from taking super long wasteful showers. I'm not saying that they have done this, but the water was only tolerably warm and not anywhere near hot. My shower was predictably short. The TV in my room did not work. Here's the thing that made me laugh - there is a direct TV receiver in the room with a HDMI cable coming out of it. The TV was so old that it was not equipped with a HDMI port. There's NO WAY the TV will work like that. There was no coffee in the room but there was a sticker on the TV that said "complimentary coffee available in the kitchen". HMMM...I couldn't find a kitchen and the bar was closed. The bed, well, it wasn't exactly cushy, but at least it wasn't lumpy and didn't have a big dip in the middle of it. There was no blow dryer either. Good thing I had my own and I brought my own coffee maker. There's an IGA next door and a Family Dollar across the street if you need stuff.
In spite of all that I'm booked again next week - same room. It's the only place to stay for miles. The devil you know, right? It's clean & the people are nice, so I'm good."
"Very very basic. No coffee. Not so clean. Shower had chunks of previous people's soap caked on the floor.
No lobby. Owners Door was closed, no phone number to call.
Won't go back"
"Check-in was easy. The room was sparse but clean. Dog friendly. Coffee available in the check-in lobby was appreciated. The pool looked really nice, but the grounds could use a little more cleanup. Would I stay there again? Yes."
"The comforter/outer cover had holes in it. The bathtub had a crack that someone had attempted to repair-but it was still cracked. Breakfast was appropriate as a Continental breakfast. Parking was plentiful and free."
