The front desk worker was friendly and helpful. She told us they were available at any time even for things like extra cream and sugar. Parts of the property were a little run down, so one of the lamps and the fan didn’t work. Also there is no longer any breakfast. Overall, a comfortable stay without any frills.
Even with a confirmation two days before I was to check they had no room for me on check in date . The owner was rude and told me and my wife

The confirmed reservation was for 10/09/2020 after 2.00pm, it was impossible for us to check-in the guest at 5.30am. on 10/09/2020. The guest did not check-in on the day of the reservation furthermore the motel waived the cancellation charges, we apologize for the inconvenience.

Came into town to visit some family. My friend and her son met my kids and i there. Before i could even get the car unloaded the front desk was calling me telling me i couldnt have any guests and either they could leave or she would refund my funds. They werent even staying but im not going to make them leave. When i get to the desk she says she can only refund $20 i wasnt in the room for even 5 min. To me this was unacceptable. Horrible hospitality!

Please accept our humble apology for an unpleasant experience that you had at our motel, according to our records there were more guests in the room than on the actual reservation, moreover there was a pet in the room, which is inconsistent with our motel policy however we did refund you the full rent amount except a $20.00 check-in fee.
Great little spot.
Was a big and welcome surprise after riding my motorcycle 10 hours from Meridian, MS.
Salt water pool felt fantastic for a refreshing dip.
Hotel owners/staff went out of their way to assist me with printing some necessary Mexico insurance documents.
Restaurants and gas stations were within blocks of the hotel and access to the highway I needed to get to Brownsville.
This was a great choice for me.

Everything was great except there was not a do not disturb door hanger???? That being said the maids woke us up at 9am. Then they knocked again at 930. And again at 10 and even opened the door that time. Had it not been for the fact we checked in after 3am that same morning maybe i wouldn't had gotten so upset. Not that i said anything to them.

Room clean. Staff professional. Internet service was terrible. I could not get any work done. Shame I cannot stay at this hotel again, but I have to have good internet service to get my work done.

The gentleman behind the desk was very pleasant! The room was nice-a few tiles missing along the floorboard but did not affect our stay at all. The price was fantastic!!

Pretty nice for the price. Located near plenty of restaurants. Owner very helpful and Sims to please. Only place for improvement would be breakfast. Only offer danish and cereal.

Smelly
Room was good for the price except for the fact that it smelled as if the toilet had only been just flushed after a week or so of accumulating waste; the stench was horrid. After a quarter can of Lysol and letting it air out for 20 minutes it became tolerable.
Otherwise, the staff was quite friendly and the room's appearance was good except for some yellow-brown stains on the door.
Check in and out was easy. The manager would often walk around checking the grounds and would always ask if we needed anything or if everything was satisfactory. He was very friendly and eager to make our stay the best. The room we had was quiet which we really appreciated. The pool was a nice size too. The continental breakfast lacked but we don’t normally eat breakfast so it didn’t make a difference for us. The motel does need some updates but the room was comfortable and cleaned. Over all we were very satisfied with our stay and plan to book the Winniie Inn again on our next visit.
