"Hotel generally ok, bit tired in places. I was missing a welcome pack so didn’t know the times for breakfast, reception rushed through it all quickly and said pack to read but no pack and no reception when went back. Missing normal coffee in room only decaf. Breakfast a bit average. Fruit pretty poor processed fruit. Other stuff ok. Staff welcoming though room clean but a bit tired and bed board broken. "

"Had to request the room to be cleaned, rubbish bin to be emptied; no towel rail for shower towel, wardrobe missing a front panel. toilet jammed in between wall - no room to sit square, no toilet brush. Continental breakfast o k but no savoury (marmite shown on menu) and fruit tired. Evening meal NO soup available and prawn cocktail served on red cabbage leaves. Tables "sticky"."

"When I came into the hotel and was given my room key, the first thing I noticed was the smell of dampness in the room. The carpet had burned marks all over it and stains and in places was missing carpet and built bar floor. The wallpaper was torn off the walls. The room was filthy dirty had not been cleaned and full of dust and dirt smoked disgusting so did the toilet and shower. There was sick and vomit on the side of the wall dried in there are multiple stains on the roof on the walls of the hotel room and over the bed. The mattress was completely filthy. Looked about 20 years old. I would not let a dog sleep in the room or even a cat the heating was switched off and did not work because of the pipework had been leaking. They were visible. Water stains all over the floor. All of the paint was peeling off the walls and ceilings and there was black mould on the windows of the hotel room. I went straight back to the hotel front desk and said the room is nothing like the ones in your photographs and I was told the hotel had not been redone for a long time and they know there is issues with the hotel and they’re trying to upgrade some of the rims when they can afford to do it however this is just the way their rooms are right now I asked and demanded to be moved to a different room. I was then shown another room which was even worse there is no elevator in the hotel room a lot of stairs and the hotel room smells of cigarettes and dogs and there was rubbish all through the hallwa"

"Easy to access from the M5. We received a very warm welcome. The room was clean and spacious and the bed very comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again "

"Hotel is in a great location and all the staff were excellent. Breakfast was decent. Pool was clean and easily accessible The rooms are tired and require a refurbishment the gaps in the window allowed road noise and a draft to the room, cupboard door handles are secured primitively with wood screws and the bedside electric socket did not work. "

"Nice room, but needs a little TLC. Parking good, nice staff. Restaurant a let down. No staff available and very slow service, cold food and breakfast was very disorganised and lacking fresh coffee, orange juice and pastries! "
