"We had an amazing stay at Cromwell's Tap House! They sent us a message containing usedul check-in instructions ahead of arrival. The staff were amazing, really friendly and had good recommendations about things to do in Shrewsbury. Room was really clean and had a Medieval aesthetic. They also have food and a hige selection of good beers at the bar - we enjoyed a pint in the rear garden."

"Not having visited Shrewsbury for many years, I wanted to stay in the town centre. The Prince Rupert is a really nice hotel, even if finding it given the intricate one-way system makes things difficult, as does finding the hotel parking lot. The only thing to complain about was the fact that the rooms had no air conditioning, and as the daytime temperature was about 38°C, sleep was hard to come by. But this is an uncommon temperature in Shropshire! I would certainly stay there again, as it is very central for all of the city's amenities."
