Be sure and read your reservation info because you must check in about a mile away. Facilities are dated but quiet. Would stay there again!!

Couple with dog.

Wasn’t clear that we needed to check in at a different location. Would be useful to have that information in the confirmation we got from Hotels.com. When our key didn’t open the door the woman at reception got into her car and drove over to our room with us to help. She was friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable even though the building is old. There was one bar of soap but no shampoo or conditioner. The drive to the lake was spectacular.

It was very confusing to have to check in at another property. The property that we thought we were staying at was being used for fire fighters which is commendable but no one informed me of the change.

Awesome stay

The hotel was a bit hidden which was awesome. It was near the lake, but I could not find the way down to it. The wood in the room was beautiful. My husband and I sat outside our room 2 nights to see the stars and loved it.

I normally don’t review but in this case I felt I should for the next guest with a family. Fridge did not work, air conditioner did not work in 105 degree weather with two kids. It was very difficult to sleep. Did not see any staff at all during our two day stay, or provided a number to call if any issues occur. Hopefully staff can fix these big issues for the comfort of future guests.
